Legacy of Fun

Margaret Mitchell was a Windy Hill Village resident who enjoyed gathering with friends in the Activities Room and participating in games, crafts, and general fun.  After her passing, family members reflected on those times of happy involvement and decided to honor Margaret’s memory by giving and encouraging friends to give in support of the Activities program.  Activities Director Marcella Wood used the generosity of Margaret’s family and friends to purchase new board games, sensory boxes, crafts, books, and many other items for the area.  Today, residents are challenging each other through these games, admiring each other’s crafts and laughing at humorous book passages thanks to the giving spirit of Margaret’s family and the positive impact of this exuberant lady.
